What we collect
The details you type into a request: name, phone or WhatsApp number, optional email, dates, pickup, group size and notes. We also keep a one-way scrambled form of your connection address to stop spam, which cannot be turned back into the address.
How we use it
To reply to your request, confirm availability and rates, and arrange your trip. We do not sell your details or use them for anything unrelated to your request.
Where it goes
Your request is saved to our booking system and opened as a WhatsApp message to the Goodbuy desk. WhatsApp's own terms apply to messages you send there.
How long we keep it
Requests are kept for up to 24 months so we can look up past bookings, then deleted. The scrambled connection address is used only for the one-hour spam check.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies. Fonts are served from this site, not from Google. Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you, and we count clicks on the WhatsApp, phone and email links the same way so we know which pages help.
Your rights
Under the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019, and the GDPR for visitors from the EU and UK, you can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or object to its use. Write to reservations@goodbuyrides.com or message us on WhatsApp and we reply within 14 days. You can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (odpc.go.ke).
